Pac-Man, jeu vidéo a été créé par le concepteur Toru Iwatani pour l'entreprise japonaise Namco. L'objectif est de déplacer Pac-Man, un personnage dans un graphique circulaire, à l'intérieur d'un labyrinthe, et de rassembler toutes les gencives-pac y en évitant d'être frappés par des fantômes. Pac-Man personnage emblématique du jeu, est un cercle jaune avec une bouche, il faut manger les gommes-Pac et les primes (sous forme de fruits, et une clé à 5 000 points) dans un labyrinthe hanté par quatre fantômes. Quatre pac-gommes spéciales font fantômes vulnérables pendant une courte période dans laquelle Pac-Man peut les manger. Le jeu original comprend 255 labyrinthes différents.

Pac-Man video game was created by designer Toru Iwatani for the Japanese company Namco. The goal is to move Pac-Man, a character in a pie chart, inside a maze, and to collect all the pac-gums therein while avoiding being hit by ghosts. Pac-Man character emblematic of the game, is a yellow circle with a mouth he must eat pac-gums and bonuses (in the form of fruit, and a key to 5 000 points) in a maze haunted by four ghosts. Four Pac-gums make special ghosts vulnerable for a short period in which Pac-Man can eat them. The original game includes 255 different mazes.
